The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) delivers the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) in accordance with the Lifetime Support Scheme Rules (LSS Rules). The LSS Rules explain the eligibility criteria of the Scheme, what can be funded as treatment, care and support as well as the approach if you disagree with a decision made by the LSA about your eligibility or treatment, care and support needs.
The LSA regularly undertakes reviews of the LSS Rules and when doing so, coordinates a consultation process with stakeholders on proposed changes. Feedback from these consultation processes is considered in the process of finalising the LSS Rules.
