A Participant Forum was held on 15 May 2026, bringing together LSS Participants, carers, families, and LSA staff for a meaningful and engaging morning.

The event opened with a high-level update on the Scheme, providing insights into current priorities and key activities across the organisation. The update offered attendees a valuable overview of how LSA continues to support LSS Participants.

A highlight of the forum was a powerful presentation from Jodie Mannix. As a member of the Participant Reference Group, Jodie shared her personal journey following a brain injury. Her story was both inspiring and impactful, resonating strongly with everyone in attendance. We thank Jodie for her engaging presentation.

Following the formal presentations, attendees enjoyed a shared lunch, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for connection and conversation. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the room, with LSS Participants, carers, families, Service Planners, and LSA staff taking the opportunity to network, share experiences, and build relationships.
