International Day of People with Disability
Celebrate on the Square 2019
The Lifetime Support Authority, PQSA and Brain Injury SA will bring the fun back to Victoria Square for the 2019 International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) event.
It’s a day to raise public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability, and to celebrate their achievements.
This year, we’ve decided to up the ante and have a stronger focus on ‘celebration’. We have an entertainment schedule of high profile personalities, including Adelady and former Adelaide Crows footballer Brent Reilly as guest speaker. Brent will share his insights into the world of professional sport and recovery after a life changing accident.
Lifetime Support Scheme participants and clients from PQSA who specialise in art, music and service dog training will also host demonstrations.
Mrs Lan Le, the wife of His Excellency the Governor will present the IDPwD SA Achievement Awards for outstanding people who live with a disability and those who work in the disability field.
There will also be music, food trucks, exhibitors showcasing the support services available for people with disability, competitions, and activations hosted by the SANFL and One Culture Football.

We look forward to seeing you there!
