The Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) provides treatment, care and support for people who have sustained very serious lifelong injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in South Australia.
The LSS is funded by the LSS Fund levy, paid by motor vehicle owners registered in South Australia, on renewal of registration each period. We administer the LSS in accordance with Part 2 of the Motor Vehicle Accidents (Lifetime Support Scheme) Act 2013. The amount collected in any given year is intended to cover all necessary treatment, care and support for all the LSS participants accepted that year, for the duration of their participation.
We take a person-centred approach, so that participants have control to make their own choices about their treatment, care and support that best benefit them and their families.
Our team of highly skilled Service Planners and Allied Health Professionals work closely with participants to ensure that they live the best life possible.
