The 2017 results of the annual survey of LSS participants about services, processes and outcomes are in. We are very grateful to learn that an overwhelming majority (98%) of participants and their families and carers reported that they are either “very satisfied” (73%) or “satisfied” (25%) with LSS services – and that the LSS has an overwhelming positive impact on their lives. Keep an eye out for our next newsletter for more details and outcomes from the survey, including how we will keep improving the LSS for participants.
Thank you to all participants and their families who provided feedback. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and critical to the ongoing improvement and success of the LSS.

LSS Rules Review:
The LSA is preparing for the yearly review of the Lifetime Support Scheme Rules (LSS Rules). The LSS Rules explain the eligibility criteria of the scheme, rules for disputes about eligibility, and how treatment, care and support needs are assessed, and are issued under section 56 of the Motor Vehicle Accidents (Lifetime Support Scheme) Act 2013. We will send a separate enews early in the new year outlining the process of the review and inviting all stakeholders to provide feedback.
Everyone at the LSA wishes you a safe, happy and healthy Christmas and New Year period.
Please note that we are open during office hours as normal. If your Service Planner is unavailable please call the office on (08) 8463 6131 and ask for the Duty Service Planner.
