In September, the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine held a conference in Adelaide, with more than 350 rehabilitation health professionals attending over five days.
The LSA saw it as an opportunity to learn about the latest rehabilitation technology, meet with hundreds of health professionals, and to raise awareness of the Lifetime Support Scheme in its early months of operation.
As well as taking advantage of the many sessions, the LSA also had a booth in the exhibition hall and staff and Board members spent time talking to conference delegates, passing out information about the scheme and seeking expressions of interest from clinicians to apply to be assessors on a sessional basis with the LSA.
