Lifetime Support Authority
The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) provides treatment, care and support for people who have sustained serious, lifelong disabilities in a motor vehicle accident in South Australia regardless of fault, through the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS).
The LSS applies to people injured from 1 July, 2014. People who receive injuries like very serious injuries that cause paraplegia or quadriplegia, brain injury, whole limb or multiple amputations, major burns or blindness will qualify for support.
An injured person, someone acting on their behalf, or their insurer can make an application to the LSS.
